Just so you know I'm not bitter all of the time. Furthermore I do not hate men. I just hate assholes. I even hate female assholes. If that includes you, I guess we are not friends.
When I turned 28 the first time, I started to worry that I would be 30 and single OH MY GOD! This would be a fate worse than death. In the cosmic dodge ball game that is mating, I would never be chosen for anyone's team
of two, and I would be stuck on the sidelines with the kids who pick their noses and eat glue. Of course I would also have to deal with the massive ego bruise that comes with knowing that if I remained single at 40, science has officially decided that my genes are inferior and should not be passed on the future generations. In order to avoid this plight I spent countless hours trolling for men at bars, browsing the dating personals online and reading various self help books on how to shag and snag the man of my dreams.
After doing this research, I have concluded that courtship rituals and rules are mostly a bunch of bullshit created to make sure ugly men can always get laid.
